Royal Mail have released new artist designed stamps to mark two years until the 2010 Olympic Games. In the countdown to the London 2012 Olympic Games Royal Mail is issuing 30 stamps for the 30th Olympiad and London 2012 Paralympic Games. Each stamp will champion an Olympic or Paralympic sport and they will be issued in three sets of ten stamps in 2009, 2010 and 2011, counting down to the Olympic Games.

Ooo I don’t like the boxing one, it looks like his teeth ought to be flying out… other than that though, I like the designs on the stamps. I was glad to find this blog post because I had not seen the designs before, despite the fact that I try to keep up with all of the lastest Olympics news on a London 2012 Forum. They must have missed this when the updated their news! Thanks, Amy x
